Educational, not a sales page
Medicare help for New Jersey families
We do not sell Medicare plans. We help you understand the question, then connect you to someone licensed.
You don't pay. There's no fee.
What we do and do not do here
We are a senior placement and referral guide, not an insurance agency. We do not sell, recommend, or earn commission on any Medicare plan, and we do not market Medicare Advantage. What we do is help a family name the real question, then connect you with a licensed specialist or the free official counseling service.

The pieces, in plain words
- Part A covers hospital stays and some short term skilled care after a qualifying stay.
- Part B covers doctors, outpatient care, and durable medical equipment.
- Part D covers prescription drugs through a private plan.
- Medigap is supplemental coverage sold alongside Original Medicare.
- Medicare Advantage bundles coverage through a private plan with its own network and rules.
What Medicare does not pay for
This is the part that surprises families the most. Medicare does not pay the monthly rent or care fee at an assisted living or memory care community, and it does not pay for ongoing hourly help at home with bathing, meals, or company.
It can pay for limited skilled home health or short term rehab after a qualifying hospital stay, ordered by a doctor. That is a medical benefit with an end date, not a way to fund long term housing.
Free official help in New Jersey
New Jersey's State Health Insurance Assistance Program, known as SHIP, gives free unbiased Medicare counseling. Medicare's own plan comparison tool at medicare.gov is the authoritative place to check coverage and costs for a specific plan.
Verify any number you are told against those official sources. We do not publish premium figures here, because they change every year and by plan.
Where this connects to placement
Families often discover during a Medicare conversation that the real need is housing or home help. If that happens on our call, we move straight into comparing licensed options with you.
